As a union ironworker, we have a hand in building the world around us, shaping our city’s skyline and maintaining the infrastructure we all depend on. I’ve focused mostly on welding and structural work in my nearly 7 years as part of local 396. Everyday on the job offers the opportunity to learn something new about the trade and myself.

As a business representative, my role is to represent the union carpenters and signatory contractors. I address contract challenges, jobsite culture, wages and overall job recruitment into the union. My primary geographical area is from Highway 40 to 44 starting at the city of St. Louis to Highway 109.
