Keyway announced today its continued partnership with Missouri Women in Trades, a local nonprofit focused solely on serving, recruiting and promoting women working in the union building trades, as its final two phases of a four-phase on-campus transitional housing renovation begins later this month.

Kailyn Jordan, a legal services advocate for the St. Louis Crime Victims Center, has been elected president of Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT). Jordan, who has served on the MOWIT Board for four years, previously served as vice president. – Labor Tribune photo By SHERI GASSAWAY Missouri Correspondent Kailyn Jordan, who has served on the Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) Executive Board for four years, has been elected president of the non-profit organization. Founded in 2008, MOWIT helps women enter and succeed in the St. Louis building and construction trades. It provides tradeswomen with support group meetings, job information and referrals in addition to maintaining a work list as a resource to the construction community.
